Greetings to you all, I hope you’re well
I have another story to tell
I last posted about a year ago
Now here I am on a flight to Glasgow
The Scottish Highlands are where I’ll be
I’m drawn to the breathtaking scenery
Its rugged terrain and wide open spaces
ancient castles and historical places
With lush green pastures and sheep galore
it harkens back to the days of yore
The Highland hills are going to be tough
I’m not sure if I’ve trained enough
I hear the midges can really bite
but no camping this time, a bed each night
As for the weather, it may rain a lot
‘Tis better to be prepared than not
I look forward to meeting the whole crew
and enjoying this trip through and through
I’m thrilled to be here, as you can guess
We begin tomorrow in Inverness
