Catching the 8:00 ferry out of Digby calls for another early start. All of our bikes are loaded on the truck, so that leaves us with a short 4 km walk from the campground to the terminal. It looks like a nice day ahead.
Once the truck comes aboard, Brenda, our breakfast cook, delivers an impressive array of cold breakfast options to where we’re sitting in the observation deck.
We arrive just before 11 and make our way to the campground in Rockwood Park. It feels strange to be back home already, if only for a day.
I spend most of the afternoon at home getting caught up on emails, doing laundry, and making more granola. I also take a carload of people to Bikes and Beans, and another carload from the campground to the uptown area.
Tomorrow we head inland to Sussex.
